Farmer’s market season is coming up and I’m ready to bust out my best artwork. I’ve been hand carving furniture and artwork for 10 years and I love getting to show off my pieces. It’s funny how some people can walk right on by some really elaborate works without a care in the world and then immediately turn around to check it out. I get a lot of ooh’s and aah’s from my mural pieces and, not to brag (maybe a little bragging) but I’ve had a few spots in the paper.
It’s just a great experience getting to setup my tent and tables and say hey to the folks beside me. I’ll tell you this, I’ve been tempted to trade some of my pieces for those honey roasted almonds. I know it’s really underselling myself but once I get a whiff of those things, I’m finished.
